The impact of mutations on the neurotoxicity of BoNT/A was analysed employing the MPN preparations. The paralytic halftimes were determined and converted to the corresponding concentrations of wild-type BoNT/A using a dose-response curve. The resulting toxicities were finally expressed relative to wild-type BoNT/A (n= 3–5, ±SD).
