Effects of AOE on expression of PPARγ and PPARγ-target genes. OP9 cells were treated with adipogenic inducers to trigger differentiation into adipocytes. AOE (40 μg/mL) was added during the early stage (0–2 days), late stage (3–5 days), or for the entire differentiation period (0–5 days). After 5 days of differentiation, real-time PCR was carried out using specific primers for PPARγ, C/EBPα, aP2, FAS, HSL, and LPL, as described in Table 1. The genes transcript levels are expressed as ratios relative GAPDH expression, with the level in ND to 1. Data are expressed as mean ± SD values of at least 3 independent experiments. ND: no differentiation, D: differentiation.
