Animals were subjected to pulmonary artery banding and treated with placebo (vehicle) or 30 mg/kg/d GW0742. After 14 days, the right ventricle was excised, and RNA was extracted from each sample. Gene expression was measured using the Illumina MouseRef-8v3 BeadChip array, and data were analyzed using the syntax package R (ver. 2.3.1) with Bioconductor and limma. Genes that were significantly altered were calculated using a moderated t test followed by Benjamini-Hochberg false discovery rate correction. FC: fold change.
