CRoot represent the concentration of phenanthrene in plant roots. After Ph6-gfp inoculation for 9, 12 and 15 days in PAH-contaminated plants, the concentrations of phenanthrene in Ph6-gfp-colonized (Green line) and Ph6-gfp-free (Red line) roots were detected by HPLC. Error bars are standard deviations (n = 3); in some case, these are not visible as they are smaller than the graph points.
