Table 2. The accumulation amounts of phenanthrene (A) in ryegrass roots and shoots. A was estimated according to the following equation: A = C × M, where C (mg·kg−1) is the concentration of phenanthrene in the root or shoot, and M (g·bottle−1, on a dry weight basis) is the biomass of ryegrass root or shoot in each bottle. Higher A values indicate more phenanthrene present in the plants and higher risks of plant contamination.
