Mice were treated as described in Fig. 1. Lung digests were performed, as described in the methods, cell populations were analysed by flow cytometry. (a) Total cell counts, (b) Total CD4+ T cell, (c) CD4+ CD25+Foxp3+ (Treg) cells and (d) CD4+CD25+ Foxp3− (activated T cells) in lung digests of sensitized mice following three challenges with saline, LPS-rich OVA and LPS-free OVA. (e) in vitro splenocyte Treg induction in the presence of the TAK-242 inhibitor with or without LPS-rich OVA and LPS-free OVA. Values are shown as Mean ± SEM. (n = 7). Statistical significance was determined using ANOVA.
