Hospitals with >5 Yelp ratings (n=270) were analysed. Weighted Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficients, using weights inversely proportional to the number of Yelp raters.

Data for 30-day mortality and readmission rates come from the Centre for Medicaid and Medicare Services public reporting website, HospitalCompare.hhs.gov.
