Graves' disease (GD) induction and diosgenin (Dio) treatment procedure. Each icon in the graph represents a different intervention to mice in the experiment. The GD mice were immunized thrice with adenovirus as described in the methods. At d 21 after the third adenovirus injection, different dose Dio was given to the three groups: High-dose Dio, GD+Low-dose Dio and GD+High-dose Dio. Blood samples were taken before Dio treatment. After 12 or 24 d of Dio treatment, mice were sacrificed, blood and thyroid were collected.
