n = 12–15 Aged rats and n = 10 Adult animals per sex, per treatment were included in the analysis for this task. Data analysed using 3-way ANOVA but graphically separated for age and sex for visual clarity. There was a significant effect of day with all animals showing a reduction in time to escape over the four days. There were no significant effects of age, sex or prenatal treatment or interactions between these factors.
