Testis sections from Foxp3+/Y (A) and Foxp3sf/Y (B) mice were stained with PASH, revealing that seminiferous tubule diameter is reduced in Foxp3sf/Y mice and spermatogenesis is arrested. Immunohistochemistry for HSD3B1 was used to label Leydig cells in testis from Foxp3+/Y (C and E) and Foxp3sf/Y (D and F) mice. Foxp3sf/Y mice exhibit smaller clusters of Leydig cells than their wild-type littermates. Four animals were analyzed per genotype.
