Compared to the group without biceps tenotomy, the group with biceps tenotomy had (A) an increased elastic modulus for the lower subscapularis insertion site, (B) an increased elastic modulus for the upper subscapularis midsubstance, (C) a similar cross-sectional area at the insertion site of either tendon, and (D) a decreased cross-sectional area for the lower subscapularis midsubstance. Data are shown as mean with SD. SI = supraspinatus and infraspinatus; SIB = supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and long head of the biceps; SUB = subscapularis.
