a

Phenotypic variance explained by QTL effect.

b

Total of phenotypic variances explained by QTL effects.

c

Additive effect estimated as one-half the difference in homozygotes carrying either allele of parents (XRQ or PSC8). Positive values indicate that XRQ allele increases the trait value, while negative values indicate that PSC8 allele increases the trait value.
