The BA-D5/SC71 (m. Soleus) and the BF-F3/SC71 (m. Tibialis Anterior) combinations were used (n=8 mice). The MyHC isoforms were separated by electrophoresis according to Mizunoya et al.24 Immunohistochemical data are expressed as percent of fibre type proportion; electrophoresis data are expressed as percent abundance of each MyHC.
