The table is organized to provide descriptive statistics for each group investigated. Therefore, values displayed exist for the total sample, individuals who never reported an attempt during the duration of the study, and those who did report an attempt at some point during the study. The suicide attempt reporters are further broken down into inconsistent and consistent reporters by study design or conceptualization. Due to missing data (i.e., individuals who reported their first suicide attempt at the last data collection wave could not have a 1-year follow-up), the number of suicide attempt reporters differs based on conceptualization. SD, standard deviation; 1YR, the 1-year follow-up study design; investigating consistency 1 year following first reported attempt. EVER, study design investigating consistency at each data collection wave following first attempt reporting, regardless of how many follow-up collection points occurred.
