Knockdown of p62 suppresses tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα)-induced protein kinase C (PKC) ζ activation. A, Dose-dependent knockdown of p62 expression by small interfering RNA (siRNA) (J-010230-05). Total cell lysates from human umbilical vein endothelial cell (HUVEC) transfected with either scrambled or p62 siRNA for 48 hours were analyzed by immunoblotting. B, Quantification of p62 expression from HUVEC transfected with either scrambled or p62 siRNA. The intensity of p62 expression was normalized to actin expression. *P<0.01.
