Effects of a 7-d administration of CORT on sleep. After the administration of CORT (10, 20 and 40 mg/kg) for 7 d, the following sleep parameters were assessed: (A) Total sleep (TS), NREM sleep, light sleep (LS), SWS and REM sleep; (B) Sleep latency (SL), REM SL, as well as the percentage of sleep time spent in light sleep (LS%), SWS% and REM%; (C) The number of bouts of wakefulness, light sleep, SWS and REM sleep; (D) The mean duration of wakefulness, LS, SWS and REM sleep.
