Comparison of anti-β-glucan isotype titre in control subjects and Kawasaki disease patients. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plate was coated with Candida albicans solubilized cell wall glucan (CSBG). The sera were added to the plate, and the plate-bound immunoglobulin (Ig) was determined with peroxidase-conjugated anti-human IgG, M or A. Enzyme activity was measured by the addition of 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) substrate.
