(a) Cells were treated with andrographolide at indicated concentrations for 48 h. The extent of Bax level was then determined by immunoblotting. Compiled results are shown at the bottom of the chart. (b) Cells were treated with andrographolide at indicated concentrations for 48 h. The change of mitochondria membrane potential in JC-1-stained cells was then determined by flowcytometry. Cells were treated with andrographolide at indicated concentrations for 48 h. Results shown are representative of six independent experiments. The extent of cleavage caspase 9 (c) and cleavage caspase 3 (d) were then determined by immunoblotting. Compiled results are shown at the bottom of the chart.
