Real-time Quantitative RT-PCR was assayed using total RNA extracted from previously incubated fungal cells with the indicated lactone, zeatin or acetosyringone (AS). Specific primers used for Pthik1 and 18S rRNA are indicated in material and methods. Pthik1 expression was normalized with the constitutively expressed gene 18S.
