Villus length was longer in in Mttp-IKO mice whether assayed qualitatively (A shows representative micrographs, magnification 10X) or quantitatively (B, n = 11–16/group, p<0.0001). Crypt depth was also increased in Mttp-IKO mice (C, n = 11–16/group, p<0.0001). The number of s phase cells (D, n = 11–12/group, p = 0.002) was also significantly higher in Mttp-IKO mice.
