Sorted naïve CD4⁺ (CD4⁺CD25⁻CD44^l°^wCD62L^hi) and CD8⁺ T cells (CD8⁺CD44^l°^wCD62L^hi) were stimulated with anti-CD3 (1 ug/ml) and anti-CD28 (5 ug/ml) Abs for the indicated times. CD25 and CD69 expression was assessed by flow cytometric analysis. CD4⁺ T cells and CD8⁺ T cells are shown in (A) and (B), respectively. Data represent one of three individual experiments.
