A total of 16,733-redundant CDSs are present in the “pan” genome of the 24 isolates of Rhodococcus that were examined. Based on reciprocal best-hit BLASTP analysis of the translated sequences, 2,870 are core. Coding sequences core to pathogenic (red) and non-pathogenic (blue) genomes were similarly identified for the 15 and 9 isolates, respectively.
