Colocalization of pUL31 and pUL34–N75A, pUL34–G77A, and pUL34–N103A in infected cells. To further investigate the divergent results obtained with pUL34–G77A and pUL34–N103A, the corresponding cell lines were infected with PrV-ΔUL34/US3 under plaque assay conditions. Two days after infection, cells were fixed, and colocalization of pUL31 and pUL34 was analyzed using monospecific pUL31 rabbit (turquoise) and pUL34 mouse (red) antisera.
