Phylogenetic tree of the Met genes in B. mori and other insects. The amino acid sequences encoding by Met genes from seven insect species, including Bombyx mori (Bm), Drosophila melanogaster (Dm), Anopheles gambiae (Aga), Apis mellifera (Am), Tribolium castaneum (Tc), Danaus plexippus (Dp), and Heliconius melpomene (Hm), were used to build a phylogenetic tree. See Figure 2 for a detailed description of the approaches for constructing phylogenetic tree.
