Viral titration in the spinal cord during the chronic stage of Theiler's murine encephalomyelitis virus (TMEV) infection. Both induced regulatory T cell (iTreg)‐late (hatched bars) and control (closed bars) mice had similar amounts of infectious virus (P = 0.67) (A) and viral RNA (P = 0.58) (B). A. Infectious virus was quantified by plaque assays [plaque forming unit (PFU)]. B. ΔCt (cycle threshold) values of viral capsid protein 2 (VP2) compared with cellular levels of the house keeping gene, phosphoglycerate kinase (PGK) 1, by reverse transcription‐polymerase chain reaction. ΔCt was calculated by subtracting the PGK1Ct from the TMEVCt.
