TGF-β transcription is not increased in PP from Tα146-162–fed mice. PP were isolated from the gut of Tα146-162–fed (n = 4, 1 mg × 4) and PBS-fed mice (n = 7) 10 days after TAChR immunization. G6PDH mRNA was used as an internal control. Densitometric analysis of TGF-β bands did not show significant differences between the 2 treatment groups.
