Glucose tolerance test. Basal glucose concentrations were measured in blood taken from the tail just before introducing the anesthetic (time, –30), and then again immediately before intraperitoneal injection of glucose (2 g/kg) (time 0). The animals were kept sedated by anesthetic supplementation every 45 minutes. Open and closed symbols represent controls and MIRKO mice, respectively.
