TsES improved survival in a CLP-induced sepsis model. Mice were anesthetized for the CLP or sham operation and treated with 50 μg TsES or the same volume of PBS. Mice were randomly divided into four groups (n = 10 mice/group): PBS + sham, PBS + CLP, TsES + CLP, and TsES + sham, and observed for 4 days after the operation. The survival rate was analyzed using the log-rank test. *P < 0.05 compared with the PBS + CLP group (a).
