The effects of CiMNP, PhMNP, and BaMNP on mean arterial pressure and heart rate in conscious rats.

Notes: Effect of (A) CiMNP, (B) PhMNP, and (C) BaMNP on mean arterial pressure. Effect of (D) CiMNP, (E) PhMNP, and (F) BaMNP on heart rate. The magnetic nanoparticles were infused intravenously at graded doses. Doses were administered at intervals of approximately 15 minutes. Values are shown as the mean ± standard error. A one-way analysis of variance was followed by a Newman–Keuls posttest. The insets show the mean arterial pressure or heart rate obtained 24 hours after the graded doses of the magnetic nanoparticles. Bars represent the average of three values (values were collected at 5-minute intervals after the basal period). Values are shown as the mean ± standard error and were determined by a Student’s t-test (n=4–5).
