Tests for disease extension in LCH

  • MRT/CT (orbit)

  • Physical exam

  • X-ray skull (4 views)

  • Complete skeletal bone survey X-ray and bone scan or PET scan

  • Chest X-ray

  • Imaging of abdomen, pelvis

  • Bone marrow biopsy/aspiration

  • Blood count with differential erythrocyte sedimentation rate

  • Blood electrolytes and coagulation profile

  • Liver function test (including serum albumin, AST, ALT, bilirubin, AP)

  • Urine analysis and urine osmolarity

  • Water deprivation test
