MMP-2 activity in human satellite cells is correlated with MMP-14 expression. Conditioned medium from human satellite cells transfected with either MMP-14 or scrambled control siRNA was run in triplicate onto a gelatin zymogram. Medium from cells treated with MMP-14 siRNA contained reduced MMP-2 activity (A).
