(A) MF susceptibilitiy of intracellular amastigotes of L. amazonensis wild-type parasites M2269 and 2506 and mutant MF150.3-1. The percentage of infection was determined by counting 100 cells/coverslip and bars represent percentage of infected BMDM in different concentrations of MF as indicated. The average ± standard deviation of three independent experiments is shown. (B) Number of amastigotes per infected macrophage treated with different concentrations of MF (2,5–40 µM). Macrophages were infected with a ratio of 20 parasites per macrophage.
