ThT analysis shows that peptoid JPT1 modulates Aβ40
aggregation.
JPT1 decreases lag time to Aβ40 aggregation and decreases the
quantity of β-sheet aggregates formed. JPT1 was added to 20
μM Aβ40 monomer at concentrations of 0 (control), 20,
50, 100, and 200 μM, and the presence of fibrillar aggregates
was detected by ThT fluorescence. Normalized fluorescence values are
calculated as a percentage of the control plateau. Lag extension,
or the fold change in lag time, and percent inhibition, or percentage
decrease in the plateau, are shown below the graph. Parameters are
