RhA3A does not inhibit AAV2 replication. Panel A. Low molecular weight DNA extracted from 293 cells transfected with recombinant AAV-2 plasmids and either empty vector (293), hA3A, rhA3A, or rhA3G A 1% southern blot was run and hybridized with a 32P-labeled probe from SSV9 as previously described (Qiu et al., 2002). The following AAV replication products are shown as dRF (double recombinant form), RF (recombinant form), and ssDNA. These experiments were performed two times with the same result. Panel B. A Western blot was performed on an aliquot of the lysate to show the expression of each A3 protein was expressed.
