The three abscisic acid metabolic pathways are regulated differently by both TGA1 and ATHB1, The two TFs reciprocally regulate CYP707A1 (AT4G19230, an abscisic acid 8’-hydroxylase) gene in phaseic acid biosynthesis pathway. The regulation of ATHB1 on three pathways cooperates with its negative regulation on TGA1’s expression.
