Activity counts in the drug-paired or control compartment during assessment of nicotine (0.1 mg/kg, s.c.) or saline after pretreatment with different doses of methoxsalen (15, 30 and 45 mg/kg, i.p.) or vehicle in the conditioned place preference (CPP) test. Values represent the total activity counts in the drug-paired compartment on test day (drug free) for each group and are presented as the average activity count on test day.
