Influence of EA on the synaptic cleft in hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus neurons.

Data are expressed as mean ± SD of four rats in each group. ^aP < 0.05, vs. control group; ^bP < 0.05, vs. CCI group; ^cP < 0.05, vs. CCI + EA 2D group; ^dP < 0.05, vs. OVX + CCI group; ^eP < 0.05, vs. OVX + CCI + EA 2D group; ^fP < 0.05, vs. CCI + EA 2W group. Results were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance and least significant difference t-test.

CCI: Chronic constrictive injury; EA: electroacupuncture; 2D: 2 days; 2W: 2 weeks; OVX: ovariectomy.
