Histopathological analysis of kidney samples from NZB/NZW F₁ mice. Female NZB/NZW F₁ mice were treated for 20 weeks beginning at 16 weeks of age with VGX-1027 20 mg/kg by daily intraperitoneal injection. Control mice received vehicle alone. At the completion of the study, on week 36, the remaining mice from the different groups were killed and and their kidney tissues were removed and processed for histology.
