Uncorrected p-values using the Kruskal Wallis test of the four vagus nerve groups for number of bundles, cross sectional area, and TH positive area fraction were 0.125, 0.008, and 0.661, respectively, and not statistically significant after adjustment for multiple testing using a Bonferroni correction factor of 21.

For each of the 31 cases, the available measurements from the four vagus nerve groups were averaged.
