^*huIL-6 mice (n=9/ group) were injected with 10 μg of AEF (day 0) and also were treated with clodronate liposomes either A) the day before AEF (day −1) or B) the day after AEF (day +1) or C) no clodronate treatment.

At 2 weeks post AEF injection, mice were injected with ¹²⁵I P5R and tissues were harvested 2 h post injection. Congo red scoring or p5R scoring of autoradiographs were done. In addition animal tissues were evaluated for ¹²⁵I P5R (see Figure 5).
