(A) The terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay was used to detect PC3 cell apoptosis, and cells with yellow or brown granules confined to the nucleus were defined as apoptotic cells (magnification, ×400).
