Wild-type (WT) Helicobacter pylori induces miR-1289 in AGS cells in a CagA- and Slt-dependent manner. AGS cell content of miR-1289 in response to H. pylori infection [8 h, multiplicities of infection (MOI) = 100] was measured by quantitative real-time RT-PCR (RT-qPCR) using a custom primer/probe set.
