qRT-PCR of SmHSF1 transcript was performed on sporocyst, cercaria, 4-hour schistosomula, and adult stages with 3 replicates. Cytochrome c oxidase was used as the reference gene and cercaria as the reference stage. The ΔΔCT method was used to analyze the qRT-PCR data.
