Note: All models are calculated with robust standard errors adjusted for clustering by sample location (i.e. municipalities within each country).
All models include demographic controls for age, gender, married or cohabitating, attends church, strength of ethnic pride, and country (not shown). Employment is not significant after adjusting for other measures of SES and was removed from model 5. In model 6, Age (OR=.97), Male (OR=1.31), and Country (ORbrazil vs. Mexico=1.55; ORColombia vs. Mexico =1.97; ORperu vs. Mexico =.53) are each significant at the level of p<.05. No other demographic control variables are significant.
