p-YB-1^S102 content is increased in nuclear extracts of kidneys of CsA-treated mice. Immunoblotting of cytoplasmic and nuclear kidney protein extracts from mice 5 weeks after daily injection of CsA (30 mg/kg body weight) in comparison with vehicle-injected animals as control. P-YB-1^S102 and total YB-1 content was assessed by Western blot analyses using a polyclonal anti-p-YB-1^S102 or anti-YB-1 antibody raised against the C terminus. Separation of cell compartments and equal protein loading were ensured by determining GAPDH and histone H3 levels.
