FigureĀ 1

Diffusion tensor tractography for the mammillothalamic tract (MTT). Brain CT shows a subarachnoid haemorrhage and MTTs in both hemispheres of a patient (34-year-old man) are reconstructed between the mammillary body and the anterior thalamus. However, the right MTT (red) of the patient is thinned, compared with the left MTT (green) of the patients and normal control participants.
