Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection does not exacerbate bleomycin-induced fibrosis. Wild-type mice were given bleomycin or saline intratracheally on day 0. On day 14, half of the mice in each group were given P. aeruginosa (PA) intratracheally or saline as a vehicle control. Lungs were harvested on day 21 for hydroxyproline assay.
