A. Representative time course of the changes in [Ca2+]c in response to 10 µM IP3 treatment in saponin-permeabilized striatal neurons. First, permeabilized cells were exposed to IP3 to evoke first [Ca2+]c elevation. Then IP3 was washed out and the cells were treated with 10 µM dantrolene (Dan) for 10 minutes, followed by a second exposure to IP3. B.
