(A) Configuration of regions-of-interest (ROIs) for sVol computation, (B) distributions of baseline sVol (sVolBL) along the gravitational axis, and (C) changes in sVol (ΔsVol) from baseline to the study end (sVolEND). Use of 6 ROIs in each sheep (A) resulted in a median ROI volume of 89 mL, with distinct ROI positions along the gravitational axis. Mixed-model regression lines in (B) show a significant gravitational dependence of sVolBL in the combined High-Strain (gray triangles) and High-Strain LPS (black circles) groups, but not in the Low-Strain LPS group (white circles). Values of ΔsVol were mostly small (C), with averages (mean±SD) close to zero. No systematic change in sVol was observed in any of the groups.
