Methods of grafting: The diagram illustrates the two methods used for grafting. In Method 1, the dura mater was re-opened and scar tissue was removed prior to injecting NSCs along with a preformed fibrin/thrombin gel. In Method 2, cells were injected through small holes placed in the overlying dura mater without removing scar tissue.
